Every year, thousands of semi nomadic beekeepers converge to the Wadi Do'an (Do'an Valley), birthplace of the Yemeni honey since thousands of years. In this valley of the Hadramaout desert, east of Yemen, grows the thorny Sidr tree, which flowers contribute to one ofthe most precious honey out of the dozen produced locally.
