About this harvest
Hadrami is the honey most people mean when they say Sidr. It comes from the floor and lower slopes of Wadi Do'an, where the trees are unirrigated and the harvest window runs a few weeks in autumn.
It pours slowly, sits heavily on a spoon, and carries a caramel-and-malt character with a finish that goes on considerably longer than you expect. Nothing is added and nothing is filtered out.
Our honey is a food. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months.
Questions before buying
How do I know this is genuinely Yemeni Sidr honey?
Every jar states the valley it came from and the season it was harvested. There is no grading system for Sidr honey the way there is for Manuka — a seller who cannot name both does not know their own supply chain.
Is it raw and unfiltered?
Yes. It is not heated, not pasteurised and not fine-filtered. It may crystallise over time, which is a sign it has not been heat-treated rather than a fault.
How does the subscription work?
Choose a delivery interval — every one, two or three months — and each delivery ships automatically at 10% off. You can pause, skip or cancel any time from your account; there is no commitment.
How should I store it?
Room temperature, lid closed, out of direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. It does not need refrigeration and does not meaningfully expire.
What if I do not like it?
Return it within thirty days for a full refund. You can open one jar and taste it first — we ask that at least 90% of the honey remains.
Can children eat it?
Not under twelve months — honey is unsuitable for infants because of the risk of infant botulism. Above that age it is an ordinary food.

Great-tasting honey! I have a question
Great-tasting honey! I have a question, though. Is there a reason you package your honey in plastic containers instead of glass jars? My understanding is that glass is more environmentally friendly, is recyclable, and is generally considered a better long-term storage option for honey since it doesn't interact with the product the way some plastics can. I was just curious about the reasoning behind your packaging choice.

It's new to me, but I've started taking a spoonful a day and love the taste and blood glucose response so far.

So good
This is a few steps above good honey from the store. It is a complex flavor of richness. Truly hard to put into words. Between the health benefits and amazing taste, it is remarkably good.

Worth every penny.
Definition of authenticity! Mānuka is great and had been my favorite prior to this purchase, but Yemeni Sidr honey might be my new favorite as of now :) Besides Yemen being famous for its sought after honey, the Sidr tree holds major significance in Islamic tradition and its honey no doubt carries the tree’s blessed attributes. Without question.. Repurchasing.

Excellent Sidr Honey
I've had a few varieties of Sidr honey, including some bought directly from an importer of authentic Yemeni Sidr honey in UAE, and some sold on Amazon. I felt that the one on Amazon (which is also authentic Yemeni Sidr honey) was the best there was; it is legit Sidr honey and pretty expensive too. So when I saw this, I was a bit sceptical since it is even more expensive than the one on Amazon, but comes in a plastic container, not glass. But I decided to try it out anyway, and am glad I did. This does taste better than the one from Amazon: the aroma is more flowery and the taste is more textured too. I had my wife perform a blind taste test on both too, and even she immediately concluded that this one was better. The only downside to this honey over the expensive one from Amazon is that this one comes in a plastic bottle, while the one from Amazon comes in a glass jar. Given the amount of microplastics in all our foods, it's unfortunate that this company has chosen to ship their honey in plastic containers. So this is the only reason I am giving this honey only 4 stars instead of 5. If they update the container to glass, I will also update the review to 5 stars. Even if the price goes up further because of the glass jar, it'll still be worth it to avoid microplastics in such high quality honey. But, if taste is your priority, then this is your top choice. It's the best honey (Sidr or otherwise) I've every had.

Great Product, Great Service!
I can't say enough good things about Yemeni Sidr honey. This has become my favorite honey as it has an amazing taste that can't be beat, and, it's from a region of the world that's renowned for the quality of the honey it produces. I would recommend this honey to anyone wanting to try some top-shelf product. It's well worth the price!!
